My nightstand used to look like a spiritual marketplace. Crystals lined up in neat rows, oracle decks stacked like little staircases, journals half-filled with intentions and affirmations, and at least three books that promised the secret to healing heartbreak. My Etsy cart was always full, my Instagram saves overloaded, and my email inbox bursting with free meditations and masterclasses I swore I would finally get around to.
But, despite all of it, I felt just as lost, just as heavy, and just as heartbroken as before.
It wasn’t that the crystals didn’t help with my energy or the courses lacked insight. It was that I was trying to fix something inside of me by collecting things outside of me. I was searching for wholeness like it was hiding in someone else’s program or inside a rose quartz tower I hadn’t bought yet. Deep down, though, I knew it wasn’t working.
When Healing Feels Like Another To-Do List
For many spiritually aware women, especially after heartbreak, healing starts to feel like a checklist. Meditate, journal, pull cards, clear chakras, affirm. And when the pain resurfaces, when a song or a memory triggers you, you wonder if you’re doing something wrong or if you’re simply not spiritual enough to “get it” yet.
But the truth is, healing after heartbreak isn’t about adding more to your to-do list. It isn’t about finding the perfect combination of practices and rituals that will erase the pain. It’s about slowing down long enough to hear what your heart is really asking for.
The more in tune you are with yourself, the more peaceful and aligned you feel inside.
The Trap of Collecting Tools
So many of us fall into what I call “spiritual consumer mode.” We keep buying books, crystals, decks, readings, and courses, hoping the next thing will finally “fix” us. We screenshot affirmations, download free guides, and jump from practice to practice, but none of it seems to stick when it matters most.
You don’t need to collect more tools to heal. You already have the wisdom you need inside of you, it’s just waiting for your trust.
If you’re ready to step out of that cycle, my program Hope from Heartbreak is where I guide women just like you to stop chasing the next tool and start using the wisdom that’s already within you. We’re not trying to add more, we just need to go deeper with what your spirit already carries.
The New Wave of Spiritual Healing
This is what I call the new wave of spiritual healing. You don’t need to abandon the practices you know and love, it just takes a shift to move from chasing external fixes to creating inner transformation.
Instead of piling on more tools, you begin to trust your body’s wisdom. Instead of trying to “bypass” pain with meditations, you learn to sit with it and listen to what it’s teaching you. Instead of seeking clarity in a deck of cards, you learn to hear your own intuition again.
Heartbreak is not a problem to solve, but it is an initiation into a deeper relationship with yourself.

What Healing After Heartbreak Really Looks Like
Here’s what it might look like in practice:
You wake up with that heavy feeling in your chest. Old You might reach for a crystal or search for a new meditation to “fix it.” New You places a hand on your heart, breathes deeply, and asks, “What do you need right now?”
Or maybe you’re triggered by a memory. Old You would spiral into buying another course or pulling five oracle cards. New You allows the grief to rise and fall, journaling just one page, not with a frantic urge to fix it, but to give your heart a voice.
This is healing. Not perfect, not linear, not easy… but real.
From Consumption to Embodiment
Your healing doesn’t live in a full Etsy cart, or in the inbox full of free resources you never open. It lives in you. The new wave of spiritual healing is about moving from consuming information to embodying transformation.
You don’t need more. You need deeper. You don’t need fixing. You need remembering.
If your spirit is longing to finally move beyond collecting tools and into transformation, I’d love to walk beside you. My program Hope from Heartbreak is designed to help you gather the wisdom in your wounds, reconnect with your intuition, and reclaim the power you’ve always had, so you can step into who you were always meant to be.
You Already Carry What You’re Searching For
This heartbreak is inviting you to reveal a deeper truth: the very thing you’ve been searching for outside has been inside of you all along.
And your healing comes from trusting yourself enough to finally go within.
If you’d like a place to begin, I created a free recovery system called First Aid for Heartbreak to help you quiet the noise, ground your energy, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
